The brand new Hôtel des Horlogers recently opened its doors. This project was designed by BIG (Bjarke Ingels Group) and built by CCHE, the two partners who had already designed the Audemars Piguet Museum, located just a few steps away.
Designed primarily in exposed type 4 concrete and wood, forming a perfect combination of materials, Novalla took great care in handling this project, which presented a challenge due to its intricate details and demanding finish.
The exposed concrete walls were treated with Novalla I50 water repellent to protect them from dust and dirt without altering the appearance of the concrete.
In order to respect the natural shapes and features of the concrete, we worked on the aesthetics with finesse and delicacy, in line with the wishes of the project managers.
